No more crime in NY

At least no more crimes committed with guns. NY has voted to raise the purchase and owning of semi auto's to the age of 21. This should make NY crime free in their liberal eyes.

If young people are considered to be too irresponsible to own semi auto's under the age of 21 shouldn't this apply to the military as well? Un-safe is un-safe. Kids that get drafted or join the military are issued full auto's. Most of these kids have never even fired a weapon. Perhaps the age required to register with the selective service and be on-call for drafting should be raised to 21 as well with this logic.

As far as training goes, many states already have gun safety classes, certificates that have to be obtained before buying their first gun. Don't know what states require this or when it began.

In Wisconsin, you can get a CCW with your Hunter Safety certificate. Even though handguns are not covered at all in the classes, which are geared to 12+, and 11-year-olds who will be 12 by the start of the next season.

Even Allen would admit that for whatever reason, kids are growing up with a lot more problems these days than in the old times. Is it wise to suddenly ignore this fact the moment a troubled kid walks into the gun shop? Remember Nancy Lanza? She was convinced of the innate power of firearms to teach her kid responsibility. Don't blame the public for not being convinced.

As for the military:

1) They screen their applicants and reserve the right to reject those deemed 'unqualified'. But being rejected for service from the military is not disqualifying on a 4473.

2) Recruits are well supervised in their use of weaponry by NCOs.

So really apples-and-oranges there.

Nobody except Allen is talking about making NY crime free. Why they are trying to do is put a dent in what they see is a problem--mixed up kids getting guns and ammo in an unsupervised way.

Should these guns be banned? I say no.

But anyone who was a young man once, or has worked with young men, knows that a hell of a lot of growing up goes on between the years 18-21. The idea that unsupervised access to firearms should be held off in that time (much as was done for alcohol) is not the craziest thing ever.

It use to be that responsible fathers taught their kids, primarily sons, to shoot/gun safety.

Now with all the liberal rot of society such as WOKE, BLM, laws not being enforced, punishment not fitting the crimes, and the list goes on forever, kids, primarily in cities can buy guns and not know how to use them. Farm life and a place to shoot, as I grew up with, is practically non-existent due to all the gross overpopulation mostly from our immigration laws not being enforced. Land is drying up and MF's that move in complain if they hear someone shoot even if it is a mile away.

Many kids today don't even know who their father is. If they live in a queer household, they have 2 fathers or 2 mothers or 2 trans WTF's.

People making first time purchases perhaps should have a parent or legal guardian co-sign with them making THEM responsible and/or certificate of a safety course since safety and responsibility isn't much applied from the parents any longer.

One thing for sure, 18 vs 21 makes no difference. Jail time with no parole (go by our laws) would send the best message. "You do the crime--you do the time."

There is a murder/drug deal gone bad trial going on in our county this week. Teenager had a shootout with a drug dealer selling fake Xanax pills, killing the drug dealer. Weapon was a .380 bought from another teenager who stole it out of a car.

They can raise the age limit to 100 and it has no effect on this type of shooting.

Disarming America is the only goal of the democrats. They can not fully take over until then.

The peaceful Nov. 6th protest was an reminder of that. That's why the democrats are making such a big deal out of it. W/O defense Americans would have no say. The protest did not have to be peaceful. It did not have to end when it did. From what I read of the 2nd they had every right to protest and the authorities had no right to stop them as long as things were going as they were. Those that did interfere were in violation of what our constitution states of rebelling against a corrupt govt. What little property that was damaged belong to them, the taxpayer, not the politicians inside.

Compare that to the BLM riots where murder, rape, destruction of property takes place along with the expense that they aren't fined for. Nothing being done or said about this though and these "folks" had no rights. If they are so opposed to police brutality they might consider committing fewer crimes (duh). The troll here often speaks of the "red flag" laws that the poop administration wants. What this biden and his clan are doing is the biggest example of a red flag there is.

What America was built upon is now being replaced by open borders, NO laws, punishment only for the law abiding taxpayers, BLM, liberal school systems, WOKE, Trans chit, gay rights, abortion as a form of birth control, prohibitive fuel and grocery cost (for those of us who pay), welfare, green cards, child credit payments, loan forgiveness, and an appointed president that spews nothing but meaningless chit every time he speaks. He makes those in an insane asylum look like Einstein's.

Point being. Many kids aren't brought up properly. Some don't know who their father/parents are. Some are brought up in queer homes with 2 fathers, 2 mothers or 2 trans WTF's. All brought about by liberal views. Many kids today have no upbringing whatsoever.

It's a wonder things aren't much worse than they are.
