If you do not NEED it, it ought to be illegal.

I do not need a pick-up truck because I seldom haul anything, therefore it ought to be illegal for me to own one. As a matter of fact I do not need a car either. I am disabled and too old to work, so why do i need a car, Walmart will deliver my groceries and the local American Legion will ferry me to the doctor.

Did you know that nearly 50,000 Americans are killed in car crashes every year? Making cars legal to own only by people that NEED one would save thousands of lives.

According to Joe, only thing needed to have prevented the Ulvade shooting was a law against 18 year olds from buying $4,000 of AR-15 rifles in Texas. The Lord knows he could not possibly have bought a illegal one off the streets.

If kindergarten kids can (without their parents knowledge) can decide whether they choose to be girls or boys, surely 18 year olds ought to be able to vote and buy cars and other stuff they actually do not NEED to survive.

RED are you arguing that we should make it at as convenient as humanly possible for the nuts to kit up before they head off to the shooting?

      That's a Yes/No question.

Politicians should be illegal. Look how many people they have caused to be killed. Much more than guns, planes, auto wrecks, DUI drivers combined.

For sure mob rule is way better. Allen's Cultural Revolution in which all of the elites are dispatched and the people rule through citizen councils

More proof that the right and left extremes meet out there in looneyland.

In your case only because you read some posts and skip others. That extremists have more in common with other extremists is hardly news.

But yeah extremists themselves don't like this pithy observation.

Said by the most extreme person here. A dude that apparently believes the only reason another dude shot up the Ulvalde school is because Texas allows 18 year olds to buy certain guns. Right along with the premises that gun control works, we just have not passed the right law, yet. And, that Socialism does not work because nobody has really tried doing it right, yet.

You are seeing what the longest Socialist governed country has come to since 1918. The Russian military and every other part of the government is a total failure and corrupt to the core. Exactly what the National Socialist Democrats plan for US.

Interesting that you should make the connection. Gun control and socialism are both left-wing ideas, and leftists keep pushing them, despite repeated failures because "This time we're going to get it right."

                    I read every post,,

                    every single one,

and RED is right, you have been the cheerleader, poster child, spokesperson/thing/it for the left since day one,

why you are suddenly pro gun, and posting about how conservative you are is a bit out of line for you

                    did you have an epiphany?

RED you don't have a clue. You gripe about RINOs not supporting your favorite nutjob politician, with no self awareness that his Cult of Personality is as bad an idea as there is, and completely alien to traditional American values.

Put another way--you wouldn't call yourself moderate or mainstream, right? That leaves you only to be an extremist. And naturally anyone who disagrees with you is an extremist too. That's your world in a nutshell.

So I am an extremist because I, for example, believe if something does not work the 1st, 2nd, or 23rd time, it probably is not going to work the next try.

Take the previous 1994 assault weapon ban, for example.

Quote: The report stated that "we cannot clearly credit the ban with any of the nation's recent drop in gun violence...should it be renewed, the ban's effects on gun violence are likely to be small at best and perhaps too small for reliable measurement. Quote.

So now they are going to reenact the 1994 law and are sure it will work this time because it is we, not they, that is passing the law.

I don't see RED as arguing, however the person I am referring to will either not post in this thread again or become the victim, it's in his nature when the discussion or argument does not go his way,
