Russia stealing grain to sell around the world to 'blackmail the west

Secretary of State Blinken says Russia is stealing Ukraine grain to sell around the world in a plot to 'blackmail' the West into lifting sanctions as fears grow food prices will get higher as war rages on
Blinken said reports that Russia was stealing Ukrainian grain were 'credible'

He included it on a list of ways that Moscow was disrupting global food supplies
The secretary of state said Russian forces had laid explosives in farmland, and its naval blockade meant 20 million tons of grain were stuck in port or on ships
He accused Vladimir Putin of trying to blackmail the West into lifting sanctions

To the victor go the spoils

There were pictures of a convoy of Russian trucks hauling grain back to Russia
Expecting your enemy to be nice and not steal things ?

      They ain't won yet.

Russians acting like Russians, which is to say, stealing everything--nailed down or not--isn't the story here.

The story will be the West telling these same countries who bought stolen wheat to take a hike the next time they have their hand out for free money. And as sure as God made Little Green Apples that day will come.

Russia produces even more grain than Ukraine so how would
anyone know what was stolen ? And who would care ?
If you were starving would you care where the loaf of bread came from ?
And what conquering army has never stolen ?
        You're dreaming.

DT these things called "satellites" are keeping an eye on things like that.

Are these countries starving or just looking for a sweet deal? India grooving on discounted Russian oil these days. Some countries just don't give a crap. Until it's their turn "in the barrel" of course.

But down the road, after the war, when one of these countries asks for free money to buy food, why not say "get your damn wheat from the Russians like you did last time"?

And at that point the Russians may have more problems of their own and no wheat to spare.

20 million tons seems like a lot.
If I should die before I wake...great,a little more sleep.

It's the Mideast and Africa that will bear the brunt of food shortages.
I doubt they'll care where the grain comes from and if the West
castigates them then China will step up even more than she has
already in Africa which she more or less owns.
There's a lot more to worry about with this war than just grain.

Sooner the war ends, the better. Here's some intercepted audio from the Russian side. Telling the folks back home how it is.
