epublican Mayra Flores flipped a Democratic House district in South Texas on Tuesday,

Uh,huh. She's Mexican. Texas is Mexican. The next thing you know, Republicans will be Mexican. Mexico has multiple parties too, but it's still Mexico. You know; math.

republican Mayra Flores flipped a Democratic House district in South Texas on Tuesday, a major special election victory building on GOP gains among Latino voters in the region in the 2020 election.
    2020?

Good. Lots of Americans of Hispanic heritage are solid conservatives. Conservatives and Republicans will be as effective in moving legislation to the degree that they are able to able to build support among critical voting groups of America. There simply are not enough angry white men voting to win. Sincerely. bruce.

Wonder how much the angry white men will be willing to share a political agenda with less-angry non-whites. Time will tell.

Been saying it for years. There's a fraction of the GOP that literally campaigns on bigotry and xenophobic talking points. This is a short-sighted approach.

          Is it caravan season yet?

How does that apply to this election?

The Dem talking point arises again. Don't vote for the other side because they hate you.

The racial/ethnic bigotry of Republicans is vastly overstated. The Governor of Texas is married to a Latina, The U.S. Senate Minority Leader is married to a Chinese American. Republican Senators don't seem to have a problem serving with Tim Scott who is extremely popular not just in South Carolina but nationally.

Maybe the Latinos are finally tired of being patronized by culturally insensitive Dems. Latinx anyone?? How's that for a term invented by some clueless white boy (or girl) who doesn't even know that in Spanish "x" is always preceded by a vowel?? Dumba$$es

The Republican Party is pouring a LOT of money into majority Latino districts because they suddenly realize they can win there.

Flores will have to run again in November and her district will be somewhat friendlier to Dems because of redistricting so it is possible her tenure will be short. However the significance of a Republican winning in yet another district that has never, in 150 years, voted Republican and which Biden won by 13 points, can not be overstated.

Since you can't understand the relevance.

                      Read Art's statement again...

"The Republican Party is pouring a LOT of money into majority Latino districts because they suddenly realize they can win there."

Shouldn't have been a sudden realization.

Now counter that with the message that comes out of some GOP campaigns that scare the poor whites with messages that they are losing their jobs and country. The same rantings you hear here from Allen, The VI, and others.

Enterprising Latino communities that work circles around the domestic population of uninitiated and non-ambitious are being disenfranchised through political doubletalk.

This is why people shouldnt waste time explaining anything to you.

This is a road map to GOP success.

I don't know why you think that your thoughts and opinions are the only ones! In some people that's a sign of immaturity! Lol
