I'm sure you have blinders on over the January 6 hearings. The fact that you have those blinders on (you're not alone in this) should tell you something about yourself, but it won't.

But had you been paying attention, there is testimony that Trump acknowledged that the election was valid but said it didn't matter. He was going ahead with his scheme anyways, providing he could get a critical mass of unscrupulous people to go along. In that he came up just short.

These people KNEW what they were doing was wrong but they did it anyways. Note I'm not talking about the mob. I'm talking about the corrupt politicians and lawyers prepared to trade their integrity for power or a big payday. These are people who should never again be trusted with political or governmental power in this country.

That they came close to succeeding is on people like you who refuse to see Trump for what he is.

He was driving a El Camino with a mattress in the back and a ice chest full of beer. He was also accused of sexually assaulting 3 girls. In college he was a avowed draft dodger and coward. He continued to sexually assault and rape dozens of girls and women for the next 50 years. His wife has been a criminal, a liar, a scam artist and thief all the while.

Bill Clinton has NEVER done anything to help other people, not once, not for anybody but himself.

Trump world lacks integrity and should never again be trusted with power.

Harp on the Clintons all you want. Or anyone else. But only Trump demanded that the sacrosanct rules be bent in his favor. That these are largely unwritten rules in the spirit of "a Republic, if we can keep it" makes the failure that much more serious. Because at some level, all that separates us from tyranny is the conscience of individuals. Like Mike Pence.

I have never liked Trumps personality but unlike you, when I see a cur dog being doused with gasoline and set afire, I try to help it. When I see a 12 year old girl being raped by a gang, I step in and no matter what, try to save her.

The difference between me and you is that you are the one pouring the gas and leading the gang rapers and I am defending the victims.
