    Is your Wife a Mermaid ? ...

Does she go to the beach a lot ? Are there soggy patches on the carpet ?
Is her hair always wet ? If so, then these are telltale signs that she is a secret
    Mermaider.

SYDNEY (AP) — There was a pivotal moment in Queen Pangke Tabora’s life that eclipsed all others: It was the moment, she says, when she first slid her legs into a mermaid tail.

You don't see many of them. I suppose it's because there are no male mermaids (merman's ?) for reproduction or someone has told the Asians that mermaids are good to eat.

All the Mermaids I've run across seem to lack a vital part of the female anatomy
necessary to carry on the species. So, it's a mystery because they've been around
for thousands of years yet they're always young and pretty. Magic I guess.

Diamonds are a Mermaid's best friend

Singapore has merlions. I've seen their statues on the waterfront.

Singapore in Tamil is "Singha Pura" -- "Lion Town" because an Indian prince claimed to have seen a lion there.
