My understanding was she is not a supporter of 2A. Of course things change when they apply to you.

We live in an age where people don't like bureaucrats in their business, capriciously. That means gun permits, and also it means DAs deciding whether or not to prosecute some woman for her personal health decisions. The SCOTUS, like everyone else, is blind to its own inconsistencies. And in the same breath that they're telling us that their precedents are built to last, they're telling us that the ones that came before are fair game. If that isn't judicial hubris in the extreme, then nothing is.

It'll be interesting to see if there any references to RGB's criticism of Roe in the decision.

those, like togor, have forgotten that their patron saint of SCOTUS, RBG herself, said it was bad law,

bad law has been nullified, and the states now get to decide,

some will go right, some will got left , some will be moderate, and some will do nothing,

meanwhile much hand wringing , teeth gnashing, and wailing over nothing,,

abortions will still be available, and likely legal in most states,

There won't be. But read Thomas's concurrence to see how batsh*t crazy this court is.

Here's a question for the 5--do they really think that the country is capable of rebuilding the institutions that they tear down?

Name one once-hallowed institution in this country that isn't bleeding out right now.

Here's one that is bleeding out and it just got a little help and also a bit aggravated.

The burden of proof has been reversed. No longer are we presumed innocent. Now we’re presumed guilty unless we can prove our innocence beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law. Rarely, are we even given the opportunity to do so.
