Indeed they would -- and my daughter and son-in-law have the experience. The difficulty of finding adoptive children is just too great.
Which brings me to my point -- those who say adoption is not an alternative to abortion always claim there are not enough people willing to adopt, when in fact it's the other way around: there aren't enough children to meet the demand.Comment

It's perfectly possible that women just don't want to carry the child for 9 months. In many states, that will remain a legal right. Thankfully, there will now be so many children available for the overwhelming demand."The first gun that was fired at Fort Sumter sounded the death-knell of slavery. It's kind of fitting that all those extra opportunities (forced births) will now be in their backyard. In reality, the abortions will still be happening for those with access."The first gun that was fired at Fort Sumter sounded the death-knell of slavery. Of course they will. Those with resources pocket the tax cuts and can easily travel to a blue state or fellow NAFTA country for concierge -class medical services.
Where it could get sticky is something rare like a water break at 18 weeks. Those are rare, but you don't want to be in Poland, Malta, or some of the United States because the doctors won't treat the condition until the fetal heartbeat ceases. If that means the woman's dying process begins, and cannot be reversed, well better that than losing one's license and/or being prosecuted by a religious nut DA.Comment
