Oregon's "Menstrual Dignity Act" = Tampons for Boys Act ...

When I read things like this I can't help but wonder what it was
that managed to addle so many brains, especially of those who
make the rules for the rest of us. Could it be an Alien attack or
was it something they ate for dinner ? There was a recent Court
decision that said Elephants were not People. If Elephants are
not People then how about Giraffes, maybe they are ? Either way,
I'm pretty sure that an Elephant or a Giraffe could run the Oregon
School Board with far more intelligence than the dolts who run it now.

Non-binary, I think that is alien talk.
And that's why I stated a while back, I'm never setting foot in Wash. state or Oregon for the rest of my life.
If I should die before I wake...great,a little more sleep.

Note that critics say the money for tampons could better be spent on teachers, etc. But that assumes the goal of the education system is to educate the children. And the system abandoned that goal long ago.

Who is being failed by public schooling? Kids from two-parent homes with a roof over their heads, a quiet place to study, and no anxiety over their next meal?

I don't think you know enough about public K-12 education to make a compelling point here.

I, on the other hand, have Masters and Specialists degrees in Education and have taught at the college level. Our education system has failed.

All public school teacher's, all college professors's, and all judge's should be fired, fined and jailed for preaching their political views.

That's NOT what the taxpayer's are paying them for.

Oh, but it IS what the taxpayers are paying them for. The taxpayers don't WANT to pay them for that, but the taxpayers are not in control.

Got it. Like trying to control the cost and purpose of property tax.

Since everyone wants to play politics these days there should be liberal and conservative taxpayers with the funds being separated. Think how that money would be split up and what changes would come about.

                    Sounds a bit fascist? 🤔

Red states would suffer. Your persecution complex would go through the roof.

The proof is this crop of kids who have to remove their socks in order to count past ten

Do a little research. What's the high school dropout rate? What percentage of kids attending college have to take remedial courses? How do American students compare with students from other industrialized companies?

Again, my question--whose kids are failing?

Which families are sending kids to school unready to learn?

Because plenty of kids are passing through the K-12 system and doing just fine out in the world.

                          So who can't cut it???

Every year, over 1.2 million students drop out of high school in the United States alone. That's a student every 26 seconds ? or 7,000 a day. [1] About 25% of high school freshmen fail to graduate from high school on time.

In other words, one out of four American children did not graduate from high school.

A smaller portion of new high school graduates is having to take remedial classes when they first go to college, according to a PARCA report on data from the Alabama Commission on Higher Education.

For students who graduated high school in spring 2017 and went on to college, 28 percent were required to enroll in remedial courses to bring them up to college-level work in either English or math or both, according to the PARCA report.

And more than one out of four who DID graduate AND went on to college -- the best and brightest -- failed to achieve a high school standard in English or Math.

Its obvious that boys' washrooms should be equipped with tampon dispensers; after all, what if a genetically female individual decides to identify as a male and needs to use the washroom when that person is in her/his/their (not sure what pronoun to use here) period? That person can no longer use the female washroom and if the (boys) washroom that that person now uses does not have a dispenser, that person would be in trouble

You guys just ain't WOKE enough for the modern world
