The non-stop campaign for covid vaccinations ...

My local CBS early morning radio program has for way over two years
invited a "Covid Expert" to extoll the virtue of getting jabbed in order
to fend off the dreaded Covid disease. Every morning without fail, a
new expert says basically the same thing. When CBS ran out of local
experts, it went State wide in search of new ones. When they ran out
of State experts they went nation wide. This morning's was from
North Carolina. Next step I guess will be world wide.

If the polio vaccine had been developed today rather than 1955 there would be the same outcry about getting jabbed.

i wasnt around in 1955 but i believe that the VACCINE, was a true vaccine that helped prevent polio and a quick wiki search says that development of a vaccine began in the 30s (about 1932) and that one of the leading researchers tested it on himself FIRST, in 1934. the Salk vaccine with dead virus was approved in the US in 1955. a mere 21 years later.

the c19 "vaccine" which uses gene therapy (per my sister, a Dr. by a cousin, a nurse with a Doctoral degree, another cousin, a nurse anesthetist, and about 5 other friends who are doctors or nurses with advanced degrees) is not the same thing. also the c19 "vaccine" only RECENTLY met the definition of such, according to the CDC, who had to change the definition on their website, to match what the c19 jab really is.

so as i mentioned, i wasnt around in 1955 but i surely can have this outcry about getting jabbed now. i also have first hand anecdotal evidence that the c19 "vaccine" can be fatal, as was the case with my mother.

In 1955, mothers were lined up at doctors' offices with their children to get the vaccine.

          +1

Huge difference between a vacine made from the dead cells of the actual virus/disease and an unproven, rushed to market chemical for political gain.

The mRNA does not change a person's genome. If a MD or PhD says it does, then they are mistaken. And if they refuse to deploy their proven learning skills to sort themselves out, then they are guilty of something worse than simply having their facts wrong. At that point it become hubris.

You think I'm making this stuff up?

Chemistry is not a political talking point, to be spun to maximum advantage.

chemistry might not be a political talking point but "science" as a whole, certainly has been of late.

oh by the way DNA and mRNA therapy and the like isnt chemistry (for the most part) its biology/cellular biology and physiology...

Well biochemistry then? The atoms are the same.

Point is, things complex beyond the point of being easily understood do not suddenly operate on rules of opinion. mRNA vaccines work how they work, regardless of what anyone actually believes about them. And we are a long way removed from the days when learned people were expected to master 'all' of the knowledge of science.

For a general summary of mRNA biology, irrespective of applications. To sum it up, the body makes mRNA in the nucleus by uncoiling the DNA region of interest. The mRNA is then exported OUT OF the nucleus into the cell where it gets read and put to work. mRNA strands from the vaccines enter the cell from outside, where they get put to work instructing the cell to pump out copies of spike proteins. That mRNA does not get to the nucleus. If I had to choose between my cells being put on TDY to pump out spikes, or get completely hijacked to spew out copies of a virus that infects even more cells, I'll chose the former. What the mRNA vaccine does to the body is minor compared to what the virus does with a full head of steam.

FWIW my sense is that most people have moved on one way or the other from Covid.

In 1955 the polio vaccine was not politicized, and people were in a panic to accept anything that might prevent polio. Today, if a vaccine for cancer was developed some wouldn't get it; all a government conspiracy.
