Boy things have changed since my days as a Fed. You never showed up for a routine check of anything wearing armor with an exposed firearm. I remember well when the "ostentatious display of firearms" was strictly prohibited.
I, with the fellow doing the video, wonder how many of these checks are being conducted in the "hood???" Not many I'll bet. This looks like nothing but harassment to me. You're between a rock and a hard place when something like this happens. You can, of course, refuse to show the officers anything and order them off your property but then you're really on their list for later "attention" for the slightest pretext.
This is nothing new, the Obama administration used similar tactics but with a much narrower focus.Last edited by Art; 07-25-2022, 07:24.Comment

granted, in some areas (hood) the attire may be justified,
not sure who the post by Onsey was for, the 3310 has been around for decades, we (dealers) have to file them for all multiple handgun sales,
and since Obama\Holder era, that includes MSR sales in the border states to MexicoComment

I never had a problem with background checks and the gun shops make a living with it but when they knock at my door that's it . I've never sold a gun not even traded one . I have amish friends but sorry can't help you money is not a driving factor in my life never has been .Comment

Every dealer has said do not file multiple handguns on one background check; probably applies to AR lowers too.
Sent an email to the guy at SAF about my experience when a check with my DL got stolen at a gunshow in 2015. Idiot left it on his table and someone probably walked off with it. Filed a report with SO and called state office doing background checks to see if I could be notified every time I passed a background check. NO. How 'bout one of those unique identifiers like my friend has? NO. Do people make fake DL to pass the check and make straw purchases? YES.
There's store on Hwy 50 in Fallon; one door, one cash register. Guns on one side, liquor on the other. Guy and gal were looking at pistols; on the big side for a woman. Coaching her pretty hard. Clerk finally asked 'who's this for?' and pointed out he could report a suspicious sale. They left.Comment

VA has a one handgun a month rule, with many exemptions,
if you can make an exemption, buy all you want, but I do file a 3310, usually with my local sheriff's office, (as well as the atf) because my premise is in this county,
which really makes no difference if you buy 2 or more in another city,
some dealers just mail them to the VSP and skip the local guys,
both are legalComment
