I sometimes feel guilty for not having an AR 15. But I console myself by having an M1 Garand. I've used one in combat, and prefer it to the M16. -

DT the fact that you have to ask the question "what action would do it?"--a fair question, BTW-- should tell you something important about the movement. Basically, that there's no reason to it.
People really ought to go read the Declaration of Independence. If they do, they'll see the phrase:
But it doesn't just make the broad claim of despotism, (see "election, stolen"), but then goes on, in a reasoned fashion, to list the claims at considerable length. But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security
The part of the Declaration that nobody bothers to read, the "fine print", is what gives it substance.
These days, if you pressed people supposedly ready to start a revolution, can you expect any sort of reasoned list? If so, I haven't seen it. All I see are grumpy people who probably watched too many zombie shows, thinking that some kind of "purge" is the key to a better future. On that last bit maybe so, but not in the way they think.Comment

I normally just carry,
as in a handgun in the vehicle or on my hip or in my pocket,
once in a blue moon things get ugly enough, close enough, that I place an AR or a Riot shotgun in the vehicle ,
I've never had much of a bug out bag or that type stuff, never felt the need,
I have a couple back packs that I could use,,,
what is happening now, re those groups, is a bit bigger than the last time this happened (flare up of similar groups) probably due to the internet,
I recall a bunch of militias from back in the 90's, that popped up and talked crap,
one came up to our range and a few members shot in our Service Rifle matches, but they did not do well (cept one guy that had gotten out of the Marines and was damn good with a M14, state team tried hard to recruit him w/o luck)
after a couple matches they felt comfortable enough to start talking all the political crab and were told, point blank, to shut up and shoot, or leave,
they left
found out after the fact they were being watched by some Fed Boi's who were also new shooters at the same time,

I see some kind of uprising, tho not an armed one, if and when the next 2 elections are frought with blatant fraud! It's no secret the the democrats have said they will not allow any republicans to win and Joe even said it himself that the 2022 election will be illegitimate. Pelosi was quite firm when she said they will use any means to keep republicans from winning! So, prepare if that does happen!Comment

Lock n Load? Yawn...another rerun."The first gun that was fired at Fort Sumter sounded the death-knell of slavery. They who fired it were the greatest practical abolitionists this nation has produced." ~BG D. UllmanComment
