Is Ukraine selling the weapons we keep sending ? ...

    Very likely.
Yes they're using a whole bunch on the Russians, but they've
been sent enough ordnance by now by us and others to match
that spent in WW2. Yet they keep begging for more.
These kinds of emergency scenarios always breed a black market
which sells whatever it is that's being supplied to combat the
emergency. Here it's weapons, highly sophisticated ones, the
types terrorists and Cartels would love to get their hands on.
And the Cartels certainly have the money. We're going to feel
the effects of this long after this war is over. At least I fear so.

Well, it can't get any worse than our biggest enemy the taliban getting our advanced weaponry and thanks to biden they have plenty now that they can sell to the Chinese and Russians and whoever is the high bidder if they haven't already done so.

          Things can always get worse.

One of the most desirable items on the Ukrainian wish list is long range self propelled artillery. We have already dug deep into our stock of about 1,000 s.p. 155mm Howitzers to gift the Uke's about 200 pieces. They also have probably about that many s.p. guns from the Euros.

The Russians have on hand 2,800 152mm s.p. howitzers with over 1,000 in reserve. The Ukrainians may be corrupt which is why we should never send them money but any long range artillery we or our allies give them are truly "pearls beyond price." So no, I doubt they're selling this stuff off. They are, after all, fighting like they want to win the war.

The Russian superiority in long range guns and rocket launchers which the Ukrainians will never match is why the Ukes are slowly but surely being blasted out of the Donbas.

I was thinking more along the lines of Stinger type weapons.

DT am I wrong in getting a whiff of you wanting to disarm the Russian enemy and are casting about for a reason?

You're not going on evidence, and using logic to reach the conclusion that brings you the most satisfaction.

It's super annoying when College Professor Eggheads do that, as you know.

Spies are typically a lot smarter.

Looking forward to the next time you talk smack about the Russians. As good a target for your dry wit as anyone.
