    Remember when everyone was saying

That Trump would get us into another war? Didn't happen did it! But, good 'Ol Joe certainly has got us into some tight places with war. We now have troops in Ukraine training their troops on how to use our weapons! Golly, that reminds me of how the Vietnam war got started. U.S. 'advisors" were sent to South Vietnam to train South Vietnamese troops! On another front, Oatmeal for Brains Joe is compromised by China and will not piss them off by defending Taiwan! China flying rockets over Taiwan, N, Korea shooting off missles all over the place, missles, rockets flying all over the Middle East and Joe just relaxes in his basement. No peace any where today!

Don't forget about the billions of dollars in aid and the most technologically advanced weapons in the world being given to his kind, the taliban.

I thought it was pretty clear Trump was afraid of war. He just didn't want to deal with the headaches or have it go south on his watch.

I support the US aiding Ukraine in this fight. I also think that Ukraine and Taiwan are connected. Lastly I find it sad the way media types allow themselves to get rattled about Taiwan. But that's the talking-head business for you--always trying to push the public's buttons, and sometimes caught believing their own tripe.

How many HIMARS launchers did we leave behind in Afghanistan? None. Zilch.

It's untrue that the Taliban got anything close to our best.

Trump cut a side deal with the Taliban, sold out the Afghan government. Biden looked at the deal and said it was not worth trying to fix. Recall that the criticism here for awhile was that Biden didn't get us out soon enough. How getting out sooner would have prevented a Taliban takeover was never explained.

Tom, no idea what he's saying but it looks like the opposition is flapping its wings again to support the anti-America administration. Strange how he will support ANYONE as long they belong to the democrat/communist party regardless of how much damage they have done and are doing.

The whole world notices except togor.

Allen's safe space is actually open to everyone now?

We know Allen is reading this, and about to burst.

How is Gunsmoke this morning? Fake accounts were his special talent.

Yep the news media was liberal back then as well. Vietnam was just a conflict before JFK with advisors from the U.S. and other places present. A young father with children soooo glorified by the press yet he brought us into war and had on-going sexual affairs WHILE IN OFFICE like clinton all covered up and ignored by the democrats.

It took a Republican (Nixon) to get us out of his mess but yet what is Nixon noted for by the press? Watergate, a mere speck of what goes on today.

Let's not forget about the Cuban missile conflict that he was responsible for too which brought us to the brink of WW3 and that his ties to the mafia is how he got elected in the first place.

Our involvement in Vietnam started under Eisenhower in 1955. Military assistance to the French goes back to Truman.

I'll bet a month's beer money that Alan is unaware of Douglass MacArthur's desire to become the GOP presidential nominee (the nod went to Eisenhower), and also his determination to expand the war against the Chinese Communists, on the mainland.

Vern's cousin uncle on his mother's side named Vietnam a decade before it was officially adopted in the early 19th century.

And Biden has 13 military deaths on his head that was totally unnecessary! He bungled it! Admit it!

Truman fired MacArthur because Big Mac wanted nuclear bombs to use in Korea! After that, Mac went out the door and disappeared.

He fired MacArthur because MacArthur was insolent and arrogant towards him. For example, MacArthur kept his plane circling, forcing the President's plane to land first -- a no-no.

MacArthur wanted to use radioactive waste to "seal" the border -- not a good idea!
