    One report that I saw listed the 9 destroyed aircraft and estimated the value of the loss at about $730 million

      Do those #s sound right? An average $80M per unit value for Russian jets sounds high. They don't build the gold plated models that the USAF buys.

          Cost? One must factor in the difficulty or out right impossibility of russia being able to replace these now destroyed airplanes. They can't buy more off Amazon. Sincerely. bruce.
