    Zewlinksky and friends

Are getting very wealthy over 'their' war with Russia! If the Russians take over, Zewlinsky and friends will make off with millions. That's what happens with dictators!

He has ruined the Country, impoverished the people, caused World-wide chaos
and food shortages, and now the threat of a nuke meltdown threatens all of
Europe. It was a war that should never have begun. He allowed it to happen
and failed to warn the populace. He thinks he's a hero. I think he's a criminal.

Lets get this straight! Russian started the war not Ukraine! Place blame were it belongs! And the invasion backfired for Russia in that it is reducing the power of Russia without involving any lives from the NATO Countries! Russian's attempt to expand their powder has greatly damaged Russia economically as well as in reputation plus the loss of Russian lives with no loss of NATO lives! It's win, win for the west!

Major Tom's correct. 90% of this can be laid at Biden's door.
He wanted a proxy war with Russia and Zelensky was his pawn.

The essential point that most are missing, mostly through bias is that
Putin cannot tolerate a NATO member on his border at least not one
as large as Ukraine. In the same way, we could not tolerate Canada or
Mexico signing a defence pact with Russia.
It's exactly the same scenario, but as far as some of you are concerned
it would be right for us to not tolerate such a pact , but Russia should.
If that is not jingoistic bias I don't know what is.
I am not a Putin spy or sympathizer as togor believes, it's just that
I can see Both sides not just the one that I'm a member of.
It's abundantly clear that rayg loves this war with his never ending
bulletins from the front. I don't. War is tremendously costly in terms
of lives and resources to say nothing of the hardships perpetrated on
countries far afield who have nothing to do with it but suffer it's
              consequences among which is starvation.
Ukraine is a bottomless pit into which Biden is pouring our wealth and
what remains of our military. If Putin is backed too far into a corner
he may well resort to his Nukes in which case nothing will matter any more.

Well, when the shooting stops, he's likely to GET a NATO member on his border -- the Ukraine!

Stop and think a minute -- if Russia absorbs the Ukraine, what nations will be on the new western border?

I resent your remark that I love this war! I love no war but I respect Ukraine for fighting to preserve it's own country and freedom. I guess you apparently don't have an issue of Russian invading another peace full country by force, but I do! And especially in that that NATO is providing Ukraine the means to resist the take over with no personnel cost to us or NATO!

Well, Biden is sending 3/4 billion dollars more in aid to a dictator State! How many billions does that make so far? Not a good return for our 'investment'

Taking Russia off the board as a world power isn't a good return?

I like that China is holding military drills of the coast of Taiwan. Let them burn off their ammo. They won't run out but the more they fire off into the water the better.

As far as Russia goes, it makes you wonder how much they have left. If they are so military capable and equipped why didn't they wipe out the Ukraine long ago?

                          Because they're incompetent.

I feel much of what they are using dates back to the 50's and 60's. Sure they have pressure/vacuum bombs, hyposonic missiles and nukes but I have to wonder how many and how effective are they.

During the Iraq war Russia was disgraced by the (Russian supplied) "fireworks" Iraq was launching into Israel.

I don't believe we should rattle their cage---we don't need another war especially with the anti-American chit we have in our WH now but it never ceases to amaze me of all the threats Putin is making against the whole world. I mean, if he can't defeat the Ukraine what chance does he think he has against a stronger nation?
