No, I really can't conjure up any sympathy for him, but I can
for the Hooker who nicked it and in turn got Nicked.
I'm sure some Hookers enjoy being Hookers but my guess
is that most don't and do it because they have no other choice.
My ten dollar watch I got at Walmart years ago keeps really
good time. A few seconds here and there probably won't affect
my life too much so I saved myself a whole potful of money.

If you went "watch stealing hooker" shopping though you wouldn't get much of a taker.

Can you picture a Hooker walking around wearing a half million dollar watch ?
Business must be really good or she is.

Most Rolex's I've seen run about 10k to 50k but guess with enough diamonds and platinum you can hike the cost way up.

I have a fake Rolex (don't think you can buy them anymore) which looked better than the real ones when it was new. Complete with fake diamonds and the Rolex official wording on the dial. The winding knob even unscrews like the real ones.

For a hooker that steals expensive watches the joke would be on them with this one.

I'm sure they steal the watches to sell, not wear but they do make ladies Rolex's (at least I've seen fake ones).

          my Rolex was about $20,

          korean made fake,

fooled a few folks I know, looks just like one, till you pick it up,
it is much lighter than the real thing

had a friend that went over in the service and brought a handful of them back,

if it matters, I do have a real Omega Speedmaster, but I don't use hookers, call girls etc so no worries of it getting stolen,

but then again, it it probably only worth a few thou,, not 5 or 6 digits

When I was in China and Taiwan, hawkers were selling them on Tiennamen Square and in a major square in Taipai for a negotiated price. I recall that I ended up buying four of them for $10. The problem was that I bought them to take back to the office as gifts for a few colleagues along with hats for the Beijing Olympics. It was only after I gave one of the watches to a colleague that we both realized that I had just given a fake Rolex to a fairly senior police officer (Royal Canadian Mounted Police). We both laughed and he put it on
