Well DT those 1950-60s destroyers were as attractive as a 1963 corvette or a 1967 Mustang. In todays world they would not last 15 minutes. Those 5 inch guns could reach out about 15 miles. Today rockets, missiles, and drones can be effective much, much, further. Ask the crew of the cruiser Moskva!
