    Mass killings in Canada?

They need to apply their gun control laws to include anything medal sharp enough to cut or injure anything. No more filet knives, barbers scissors, steak knives, ulu?s need to go away, as well as ice picks. No more meat cutters or toe nail clippers. These senseless killings will stop when the made to cut and kill are outlawed.

Oh BTW, if Canada would just put a speed limit of 16 KPH on all vehicles everywhere it would save hundreds of lives. No more fatal car crashes, no more plane crashes or snowmobile wrecks.

Trudeau needs to get off his butt and stop all these senseless deaths.

They voted for him. They made their bed, now they get to sleep in it.
    Just like we have to.
It's easy to blame these politicians when actually we're to blame
    for putting them in office.

Canada has as many mass killings as the US, based on population.

I was in the UK some years ago and there was a lot of rape. The police were advising women to carry perfume spray. That's the old Liberal solution, "We admit you need to carry a weapon, but you can't have one that actually WORKS."

Spraying perfume on your attacker ? What a turn off that would be to a rapist

One of the two perpetrators is dead. Police found his body on the Indian Reserve near where the killings took place. Police have indicated that his body has wounds that do not appear to be self-inflicted so I would guess that one or more of his victims fought back. The other killer is thought to be hiding out in the City of Regina, a couple hundred miles south of where the killings took place.

I am just waiting for our Prime Minister to say that obviously his anti-gun policies are working since these guys used knives and not guns. Next step will be to outlaw kitchen knives and require chefs and housewives to be licenced, but only after a background check, a training course and two references to good character

Assault knives, damn I knew they would get to that. Don't let our crapper in chief see that!

I just read that one of the suspects (the one still alive) had previously been convicted 59 times for assault, robbery and threats. He was out of prison on what is known as "statutory release". Stat release is a procedure in which prisoners are let out of prison when they have completed 2/3 of their sentence. They are supposed to serve the last third of their sentence in the community and are supposed to be under close supervision similar to being on parole. Apparently this suspect disappeared as soon as he was released and the obvious question is why was he released?

That's pretty much the way it is in England now -- knives are outlawed.

It's amazing how our government's bend over backward to release and comfort criminals yet also bend over backwards to arrest, indict and fine innocent people and those that have done very little wrong.

Those in prison should serve full terms only. There should be no time-off for good behavior (that is already expected). There should be extra time though for bad behavior.

Judges who let repeat criminals out early should also be jailed for the same crimes. Seems they are accountable to no one.
