As the 'Rats are fond of the backdoor approach to lots of things now they are going that way on guns. Credit cards will be coding purchases at firearm retailers and collecting data (to do what?). UPS has informed small volume shippers they must use next day air for handguns, rather than second day.
Now I can see a real swing to cash/MO/COD/prepaid debit for purchases and if folks organize to deny the CC companies that 3% it could sink in. FEDEX may not play with UPS, they have notably different approaches in my experience which is why for years I've specified USPS/FEDEX whenever possible.
