Newsweek is hardly expert in military matters, but there's no doubt the Ukranians are kicking butt. I hope they go on to reclaim the Crimea and then join NATO.

Since there will never be any form of restitution from Russia I'd like to see the Ukrainians push the Russians all the way back to Moscow and claim it. Of course they don't have that kind of manpower and are operating with other countries armament and money as it is but it would be nice to see some payback.

The article mentions that the Ukrainian advances have moved the Russians out of artillery range of Ukrainian communications and supply depots. The Russians still have a honkin' big old Air Force that they don't seem to be willing to use, at least in substantial numbers, why?

The Russians are running on empty on ammo, they're down to buying it from the North Koreans. The situation is reversed from a couple of weeks ago when the Ukes had exhausted almost all of their com bloc ammo but it seems we've made that good with the U.S. - European field guns which we now are able to adequately supply with ammunition.

The incompetence of all three branches of the Russian military is mind blowing. I guess this is what 40 years of corruption on a massive scale eventually produces.....incompetence on a massive scale.

Sounds like us with the FBI, DOJ, BATF, the public school system and everything else the gov't gets involved with.

I am developing some real concerns about that especially with "Main Justice" and the FBI.

Most of it started with Bill Clinton and was overlooked by the Bushes. Obama got the IRS involved in blocking conservative organizations from tax exemptions. Plus using the ENTIRE justice arm to support propaganda and made up charges and bogus investigations to spy on and sabotage any political group that opposed them. They have wrecked the institutions that were honored and respected by hardworking, God fearing, law abiding, citizens.

I have no doubt that the use of the word CITIZEN will be removed from use because it is racist and non inclusive of all the millions of the new voters the Democrats are importing to support the establishment of a Socialist Dictatorship.
