    Biggest Fentanyl bust.

On these busts have you noticed the bad guys always have non American roots.

Names like Bob Johnson, James Freeman, Billy Bob Carson, William Winchester, or Dixie David are seldom mentioned.

    Quote:

Officials said the seizure occurred on Wednesday. The suspects were identified as Francisco Delgado, 26, and Jose Molina, 21, according to Fox Phoenix.

Fentanyl and its derivative carfentanyl are extremely potent and deadly drugs. Statistically, the seizure of a large amount of those drugs means that some people will
live (at least for the moment) rather than die of an overdose. I just looked up carfentanyl on Wikipedia which said that a few years ago, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police had intercepted a box from China containing 50 million lethal doses - enough to kill the entire Canadian population. Obviously, the legal system is not treating the importers or distributors properly. I have long maintained that if someone dies from an overdose, the person providing the drug should be charged with murder.

Basically a point I've brought up in the past and recently.

Mandatory punishment for selling drugs should be the death sentence. That's selling only, not using, as many are addicted.

That's the way it is in Singapore. I used to track cases through the Straits Times (the English language newspaper.) In Singapore it's about two years from sentencing to hanging.

Disagree. Supply will meet demand. Anyone who tests positive should be remanded to the custody of the Surgeon General (a real one) and put in a treatment program.

Lots of fresh air and exercise. This is your chainsaw and that's a National Forest full of dead trees.

That doesn't work -- it's the lifestyle that produces addiction. They leave treatment and go back to the old neighborhood and old friends.

I'm not saying there should be no crime for using drugs. I'm just saying mandatory death for those selling drugs.

People who are addicted and can't find drugs will most likely have to go into rehab or something. Eventually, if they live, they will be cured.

Selling drugs is something that should be feared, not assumed to be one of our "rights".

There I agree -- but users are as guilty as sellers. After all, if there were no users, there would be no sellers.

Users are addicted. Until cured they have to buy/steal/find drugs but no one HAS to sell drugs.

Arrest them all but kill the sellers. The only way out for a seller should be to disclose who they bought from. Eventually things should lead to the top of the supply line.

How can a person who has never used drugs be an addict?

China is doing to us what FDR's grandpa did to them. The solution will not be easy nor will it be nice. It's do or die.

Who said anything about a non-user being an addict?

All addicts started out as non-users. When a person chooses to start using drugs, they're as guilty as a person who chooses to start molesting children.

Hence the quote "arrest them all". Users and sellers.
