As a kid you had to learn your ABCs.
Now as an adult you need to learn the new version of the ABCs:
There are the Government acronyms like DOJ and FBI, and there are
the conversational acronyms like LOL , FISH and BOLO.
And the Political acronyms like NAACP

Personally, I haven't the faintest idea about what most of them mean,
but I thought the original LOL meant Lots of luck, which considering
the sorry state the world is in, might be a better choice than laugh out loud.
