Putin's wrath unleashed: 83 Russian missiles at Ukrainian cities

Putin's wrath unleashed: 83 Russian missiles are fired at Ukrainian cities, bringing death and destruction across the country - with Vladimir warning there will be a 'severe' response to further 'attacks'
Putin confirmed he ordered massive missile salvo against Ukraine as almost every major city was targeted

He said strikes were response to 'terrorist' attacks by Kyiv, including explosion on Kerch Bridge on Saturday

Ukraine said 83 missiles were fired, hitting energy networks, water supplies and civilians across the country

Zelensky said Iranian-made suicide drones also took part in the attack as he accused Russia of 'trying to wipe us off the face of the earth' while vowing that such tactics would never succeed

Too bad that they didn't get all the bridges. Hard to see but from the photos it looked like there were three parallel lines: two for cars and trucks and one for railcars.

So far the Ukrainian hits on Russia itself have been very limited, targeting an oil depot and the bridge. They seem to have been very careful not to fall into the emotional trap of going after civilian targets since doing so would cause support for Putin's war to rise. Now they have to go after any nearby bridges that carry the railcars to the damaged bridge.

My thoughts as well. The Russians can still get across and make repairs easier on the damaged part.

Re: Repairs. Given time, anything can be repaired. The thing is, when a bridge, etc., gets bombed, it snarls up everything imaginable. And of there is the problem of the pictures. The pictures are a problem. The pictures give everyone the idea that the people doing the bombing have power and that, in this case, the squatter in Moscow has no power. It's not a good look for him. It is a real good look for them. Cool. Bombs away! Sincerely. bruce.

Well, that's the problem. Supposively the area is too guarded for such. They are still trying to figure out HOW? The latest guess is an underwater drone attack. Since everything went off so well along with the perfect timing of the train and Putin's birthday it had to be planned well in advance.

As far as the squatter, embarrassment and repairs go. It has simply been reduced from a 4 lane to 2 a lane bridge and the RR bridge remains. So the Russians can still bring in troops and supples.

Like Mark said, "it's too bad they didn't get all the bridges" because there may not be another chance.
