    Tulsi quits the democrats

This wasn't hard to see coming.

I was hoping she would run as an Independent in 2020 and rob a bunch of dem votes but it seemed that didn't need to happen due to all the support Trump had. Hillary suspected this too and was having a fit over it even though the dems did the same with Ross Perot.

Anyway, she woke up from her "woke" party.

Maybe there are other Democrats with common sense and consciences.

How many times have we heard "I vote for the person, not what party they belong to"?

Long ago that might have had some merit but I've seen quite a few seemingly good people get elected into the democrat party only to be caught up in their built in corruption and pressure to do what is demanded of them.

SHE, wasn't one of them. Hopefully if Tulsi re-enters politics and runs on the GOP ticket she won't become a RINO since her views have most often leaned a little "right" (as in correct).

What a lot of people don't understand is if you vote for a Democrat for Congress, you're voting for Nancy Pelosi -- when the Democrats have the majority, she's the Speaker of the House.

Not a surprise. She's been harpooning the Dems for quite a while. Party changing isn't that unusual, heck Arlen Spector did it twice.

I like her. Looks like others do too.

She checks some boxes and rings some bells, but I don't know much about her and the 'coverage' makes my ears stand up. If it was a desert island tomorrow, I'd still pick Nikki in a heartbeat.
If I should die before I wake...great,a little more sleep.

Will Nikki be running against Tulsi though?

Tulsi has always spoken out against democrat views that she didn't agree with. That's why she's out of a job now.

The Democrats drive out honest and honorable people.

They don't have to do that very often though.

True. Honest and honorable people are not attracted to that party.

Hopefully she will be an effective leader of a rational wing of the Democrats, not a 'Blue McRomney'. And they will try to subvert any attempt at reform.

                              Tulsi is number 3 now.
