    A closing scene

From a old movie I love:

A man will search his heart and soul
    Go searchin' way out there
His peace of mind he knows he'll find
But where, oh Lord, Lord where?

I have not found my peace. All I see around me is insanity and a absolute absence of common sense and no moral belief in right and wrong.

"The Searchers", the best western ever made. Based on the abduction of Cynthia Ann Parker by Comanche Indians.

When Mackenzie led the 4th Cavalry through Palo Duro canyon, and captured all the Comanche winter food, destroyed the camp and shot the pony herd, Cynthia Ann's son, Quanah, led his people to Fort Sill and surrendered. He then transformed himself into a modern businessman and statesman, took charge of Comanche affairs amd saw they were not cheated. He became a personal friend of Theodore Roosevelt, and founded the Native American Church.

The Searchers, Red River along with Ford's trilogy of She Wore a Yellow Ribbon, Ft. Apache and Rio Grande - Simply superb in every respect. Sincerely. bruce.
