......which is extremely low, almost always due to negligence and has nothing to do with the issue at hand. It's all, and I mean completely, about the war on fossil fuels. The chance of a gas explosion in your house is a lot lower than that of a battery fire in your electric vehicle.

I just looked at some stats. In the US there are, on average, 287 residential gas explosions per year. Last year there were 4,800 plus or minus a few, battery fires in EVs. Lithium battery fires are darn near non extinguishable, and with them going up like torches all over Florida from exposure to salt water right now I bet it'll be a lot higher this year.

Quick addendum. Between 2015 and 2019 46,000 + homes were destroyed or damaged by fires that started in their electrical systems. Yup that all electric is real safe.

After wood stoves, electric faults are the most frequent cause of residential fires. I do not do my own electrical work even though EE is part of my degree and license.

The war on fossil fuels, along with the trans thing, BLM, woke judicial reform, revisionist history, etc is all part of a big PsyOps ruse being run by the CCP. If you think that is hyperbole remember all the socialist media cos depend on the Chinese market for their earnings and China doesn't let them play for free.
