So, we're going to run out of diesel fuel in 25 days ?...

according to Tucker Carlson and he's usually correct if not always so.
If that happens, everything stops, the country comes to a standstill.
so why is there no news about this in the MSM ?
Maybe time to stock up before the shelves are swept clean ?

    I don't see this happening.

If we run out of diesel we run out of jet fuel as well. The only difference is the flash point and freeze point.

Diesel/jet is easier to refine than gasoline so we would run out of gasoline first (a blended product). We have crude, mainly by means of fracking and we buy crude. We have refinery capacity.

I didn't watch the video but don't see the problem. If Carlson is speaking about the reserves that's why reserves should only be used for emergency and/or national defense purposes, not to temporarily drive gasoline prices down to get votes during the mid-terms.

Reserves can be restocked. It will just cost more.

I hope you're right. Trump filled the reserves, Biden emptied them.

And Trump filled the reserves when crude was at a historical low like $25 a bbl. Now it is running around $90.

The fact that we retain reserves when we don't have an idiot in the White House shows that refineries do not pull from the reserves unless they have to. In this case it was to use the cheap stock and get the prices down (for votes) leaving us with no reserves.

Joe keeps selling our oil to China because he thinks we won't need it.
