Not quite. The intruders yelled "where's Nancy?" before hammering on her husband (Paul?), so Nancy was the intended target.

Funny. In LA, to avoid being accused of racism, when the police were looking for a Black suspect, they would refer to him on the radio as "Canadian."

Some thing is definitely fishy about this. Why a hammer? Was that Papa's defensive tool? Did the perp find a hammer laying around? Why did it take 24 hours for the police to show a photo of the perp? Where was Nancy? In Italy?

You read everything but what I make out of what was published "papa" being a liberal, didn't have a gun but apparently had a hammer (assault hammer?) on his night stand and picked it up to defend himself. The intruder took it from him and started hammering away. If this is true then it appears the intruder came in un-armed.

24 hours? The media always defends the criminal first. In this case it was both of them.

It was previously mentioned here that Nancy was in DC at the time. I wondered about that too.
