January 6th was a flawed operation. Any such attempt in the future must be better planned. Pence is a traitor - he accepted election results which were seriously suspected to be flawed; at the very least, he could have delayed things rather than simply rolled over. It's hard to win an election when significant numbers of your own party work against you. There's a lot I don't like about Trump, but he is a better man than Biden any day of the week. Maybe DeSantis will be the answer. I do know that we VASTLY overestimated the mood of the people last week, and underestimated the ability of the left to cheat WHEN WE KNEW THEY WOULD AND WERE WATCHING THEM. Maybe 2024 will be better; I don't know - but it won't unless we all pull together. If we don't, the US will become a Socialist dictatorship.

I would like to see how the repub and dem votes came out on the machines and then see how the mail in and drop box votes went, to me the ratio should be about the same not lop sided with drop box and mail ins.

Kari Lake, like Trump, isn't afraid to speak up. Whether she wins or loses she will be bringing up the mishap that occurred on the machines, how it happened in the most populated county, how that county showed her in favor and so forth.

The more I read about her the more I like her, just still leary of her continually swapping parties.

Unfortunately we're going to have to deal with states, mostly Dem controlled who have extended early unsupervised mail in voting which is rife with opportunities to screw with the ballots. Oregon has mail in voting only .

Florida is a great example of how to do it. After the Bush v. Gore disaster they fixed their system and got their results in in on Tuesday in five hours. In Arizona the problem is that mail in ballots can be dropped off at a polling place on Election Day. This is a way to vote on Election Day and not stand in line. Unfortunately a mail in ballot takes longer to process than an in person ballot so if enough people do this, and apparently several hundred thousand used this option it really gums up the works. By the bye, if there is one sure fire way to dick with the outcome its signature verification on a mail in ballot.

Understanding that the States write their own election laws there should be some Federal guidelines for elections in which Congressional or Presidential candidates are being elected. At the top of the list should be no unsupervised drop boxes, no "ballot harvesting" (legal in California) and also, there should be a limit on the time dedicated to early voting. Two months of early voting in Penn. is just stupid. Fetterman was probably elected before most people even knew he had a stroke. No state should have more than two weeks of early voting. Also, equally stupid, is delaying counting of mail in ballots until Election Day. These ridiculously long counts result in the perception of skulduggery even if it isn't present. If France and the UK can run elections with results know in one day using paper ballots there is no excuse for not knowing the outcome of the Governor's race in Arizona a week after election day.
