It's still out there, you just have to be lucky. I mentioned to an acquaintance the Trenton Mission store, they found a set of solid oak bookshelves. At the Nearly New Shop I found a Pendleton board shirt-$20, a Pendleton Shirt Jac-$70. Both looked unworn, one still had the tags on it. They both retail for well over $100.

If I was looking for clothes I've have no trouble as my local SA and GW have devoted
roughly 80% of their space to them.

I did the same thing; I had about five different turntables. The belt (or actually rubber bands) would need replacing and you could still find them for a while. I gave the whole kit and caboodle to my brother a few years back. If I stack up all the CD's it's about five ft. high. I never play music in the house (except for stuff on the computer). I have some big speakers in the shop with a set out in the ramada. With four backup speakers on hand(heat wrecks them eventually). The best speakers I ever owned were a set I ripped out of an old phillips console at the dump. Absolute best sound ever.
If I should die before I wake...great,a little more sleep.

At work my co-workers put all their music on a hard drive or memory device gizmo. It's 500gb but not full of music. Still it has all they owned and mine on it which relates to (estimated) 55,000 songs. They burned me off a copy. I use it and additional songs from YouTube on my computer using my headphones. Since one persons music is another persons poison I bother no one this way. I still have my stereo with the cd selector, turntable and big speakers. No one uses it anymore.
