It is an all out war. If you are in a life or death war, there are no rules. If you have to cheat to win, all bets are off. Right now the only thing stopping the Russkies from using nukes is the MAD rule (Mutually Assured Destructio).

The real problem is that if the Russians use tactical nukes to kill a million Ukrainians, Biden will reply by going to Australia on vacation. JMHO

As we should! It weakens Russia and makes Russia think twice about invading another country again! And it also is making NATO stronger through the gaining of more NATO members. NATO is a big deterrent to other countries doing the same! The problem is not that we are helping Ukraine but that Biden is not doing much to stop the invasion of our southern border!
