It's not fair that so many people from the big countries get to pour into the U.S. There has to be some balance. There aren't nearly an equal amount of Peruvian Incas here. I see a few now and then. I don't know how they manage to find their way to the bus. They are just a little smarter than monkey's but they aren't allowed to say that.
Too many Mexicans

I'm the only Gringo at my dollar store.
I thought one of them was a kid, but he was an adult and was
no more than 42 inches tall.
My Son is 6'3" and must have seemed a Giant on his trip deep
into Mexico where he said they're all less than 4 foot.Comment

It use to be typical for many Europeans to be short too. When Ponce de Leon came here plundering and discovered the Indians living here at St. Augustine, FL he thought everyone here must be a giant and it had to be in the water. He looked for their water source and came across a small spring bubbling up from the ground, he called it the "fountain of youth" assuming that was what made everyone here so big, strong and healthy.
He took some of the water back with him and then started making numerous trips making himself at home here, each time bringing more and more people and taking some of the healthy natives here back as slaves. Before long the folks here had enough and shot his arse with a flaming arrow. At least that's what they told us in St. Augustine (except for the arse part). He sailed to Cuba and died from his wounds which some say may have been from a poisoned arrow.
There is a statue of him in St. Aug which is said to be life sized and only about 4' high. It's easy to miss so they put it on a pedestal.
History can be so interesting when presented differently from the text books.Comment

Many tribes practiced eugenics -- small, weak and sickly children were put to death to keep them from reproducing. As a result, many tribes were large and well-muscled. When the painter James McNeil Whistler was touring Europe, he visited the Vatican, and saw the statue of the Apollo Belvedere. He blurted out, "Good God! A Mohawk!"It use to be typical for many Europeans to be short too.
