Russian creates stories about children in Ukraine?s Armed Forces

Russian propaganda creates fake stories about children in ranks of Ukraine?s Armed Forces

This post also contains a whole bunch of Russia propaganda and other war news articles.

Propagandists are also attempting to discredit Plast and other Ukrainian patriotic organizations

Russian media and Telegram channels are spreading a fake story about the Hitler Youth (a Nazi youth paramilitary organization consisted of boys aged 10-18 - ed.) in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Nothing unusual about boys fighting -- my Great-grandfather was born in 1848, and lied about his age to join the Union Army. He was still underage when the war ended and he was discharged.

But if I were a Ukranian, I'd tell the Russians, "Yep. Our little boys are beating the crap our of your grown men. You better get the hell out of our country before we send the BIG boys in."

Yes nothing unusual but a big difference is that according to Ukraine law it is not allowed! That don't mean some boys lie about their age and fight but officially the law states you must be 18!

Interesting -- when people were fleeing the Ukraine, boys 16 and older were stopped and turned back.

Yes -- it was on the news. They were needed for military service -- the country had been invaded, you know.

Firstly, the participation of minors in the war is impossible under Ukrainian legislation, namely according to the law "On Military Duty and Military Service". Citizens aged 18-60 who are able to perform their military duty are subject to mobilization. In addition, to become a member of a voluntary formation, one must reach the age of majority.

My mistake -- it was men over 18 who were not allowed to leave the Ukraine.

Ukraine announced late Thursday that men between the ages of 18 and 60 were forbidden from leaving the nation, which has been under martial law since the start of the Russian invasion. Some of the men were separated from their wives and children as they tried to board trains to flee, while others were stopped at the border.
