Corruption is every bit as much an issue in The Ukraine as it is in the Russian Federation. That's why I don't think its a good idea to ever give them cash, its almost sure to be misappropriated.

Corruption, and the incompetence its bred at least since the end of the Second Chechen War, is the major reason the Russian armed forces haven't been able to get their act together.

Corruption is unusual by its absence rather than its presence in any government. Zelenskyy has demonstrated a uniform intolerance for members of his government and military who fail to act ethically. This is remarkable given the failure of such uniformity demonstrated by political leaders in old Europe, Russia, and even in our United States.

If one is to consider the best way to kneecap Putin and his cabal of criminals, then spending money on equipment and weapons for end use by Ukraine is certainly a cost effective bargain. It is the best way to advance the national interests of America in the caldron that Putin has stirred up with his nightmare of trying to clawback former soviet satellites into a puppet state dependence on russia. Sincerely. bruce.

If you didn't read my first page regarding the corruption please do so. as it appears that positive changes regarding the corruption are being made by Zelensky!

Ukraine wants to join NATO and because of that, it needs to reduce the corruption to be able to do so or some NATO counties may vote against it joining. I had read that the corruption was a major concern with some members of NATO.

Okay now for those who are opposing the US effort for Ukraine, let us know what the US should do! Should the US do nothing and let Russia take over Ukraine! Or do what! Ok lets hear your opinions! Keeping in mind it's only forum talk!

The reason I am againts Giving any more is we are depleting our supplies and not resupplying our inventories. Enough is enough! We are the ones that will be left in a lurch.

Perhaps the Ukrainians should charge those who are corrupt in wartime with treason and shoot a few. That might discourage the others

Question. Not meaning to stir a turd or take sides but: Would it be so bad if Russia took over the Ukraine AGAIN? Since the separation both have remained much the same I believe. Right now it's a case of Russian's fighting former Russian's. A civil war? Are the Ukrainians better off now than before under the Russian rule or is this merely a case of one man (Zelenskyy) wanting power?

Putin has already annexed the Crimea, Ukraine's most valuable section of territory.

I can understand the Ukraine wanting to become an independent nation but sitting on a a land full of former Russian assets isn't the best place to start. I can also understand the world does not want Russia to expand but is this small piece of land worth pulling the world into WWIII which is quickly heading that way?

Why not ask the Ukraine's what they think as it's their land the Russians invaded and took by force! And don't forget to check with all the other countries bordering Russia in what they think and what could be in their future with Russia!

Do you actually think that Russia would be satisfied with only taking Part of Ukraine when there are other countries that are also on Russia border?

The US failed when they could have embraced a no fly zone by NATO. Had they done that, no invasion would have happened. On the other hand the no fly zone was not put place because the administration WANTED the war to happen. The progressives do not give a damn about civilians, children, old folks, suffering and dying, is OK, as long as it enables a George Orwell New World Order.
