Putin has lost half of Russia's elite airborne troops

Vladimir Putin has lost half of Russia's elite airborne troops in botched Ukraine war

Russia has lost a suspected 127,500 troops since it began its invasion of Ukraine nearly one year ago, and among these heavy casualties is half of its supposedly elite airborne troops

Hello! When was rhe last time the Russian military was in a real fight and won?

Afghanistan and Chechnya? they lost both.

Eisenhower and the U-2 proved they were a paper threat in the 1950s And they still are! No Communist society has ever flourished, any where, at any time? unless you listen to our former Progressives that thought No. Korea and Cuba are paradises.

But, you must understand that a few of the rusty Russian nukes may still be usable. We do not need to give the Ukes F-16s. Let them and the Russians chew each other up. Neither one will survive stronger than before their war. And that is a good thing.

Chewing. At this point, putin is dealing with the results of sticking his head in a bear trap. Afterward, a strong Ukraine under a genuinely democratic leader like Zelenskyy will be a good thing for a shocked old europe as well as the United States. Sincerely. bruce.

127,000 Russian casualties? That pretty crazy. I did notice the word 'suspected'.
If I should die before I wake...great,a little more sleep.

"Casualties" includes both dead and wounded -- and traditionally, the wounded outnumber the dead about 2 to 1. So this would work out to 40 to 45 thousand dead.

"a strong democratic leader like Zewlinsky". Are you kidding? Zewlinsky is NOT a leader of a democracy! He is a dictator!

But remember what Roosevelt said about Batista. Someone argued that Batista was a son of a bitch, and Roosevelt said, "Yes, but he's OUR son of a bitch."
