All these never ending variants of Covid, Ebola and now this one, Marburg
plus all the age old diseases are maybe her attempts at finding a vaccine
against the pests who are despoiling her world. Here we are busily inventing
vaccine after vaccine in order to fight off her ceaseless variety of vaccines.
If this is a battle of who can outlast who, I'm afraid my money is on her.

Plagues and famines are mentioned in the Bible. It's a natural form of birth control when entire civilizations are irresponsible enough to outpace their resources and literally push each other into the sea.

I have this nasty cold. I had a short lived cold a month ago. What I have now is that heaving up your lungs cough. I haven't had a cold or the flu for at least thirty years. I figured I had "grown out" of that kind of thing. Now, it's something different or I'm getting old and breaking down. Loads of people have colds this winter. I'm staying out of Africa.

Like clockwork I get something every winter.

Starts with a lot of sneezing > nose running like a faucet > coughing > severe itch in throat resulting in near passing out coughing.

Very little mucus to cough up and never a fever. What works is an antibiotic at the start of this.

Just stating this is case you or someone has something similar. The antibiotics work.
