    The British Army isn't the Army I remember ...

    I told them I'd stay on if they promoted me to Colonel.
    They said that promoting a Private to Colonel was out of
    the question, so I left.
    I could gloat, but I won't.

      Just as well you left. All their vehicles have the steering wheel on the wrong side and soon all their currency will have picture of Alfred E. Newman on it.
