    Oh no.

    Anyway...

      Hard not to, ...

(Trying to not cross the line.)

It's hard to not lament the current state of things and how far they have fallen when faced with such undeniable Greatness of someone in our not to distant past. A truly Righteous man indeed (and someone we probably all hope we are when it really matters). Thanks for posting that.

My uncles all served in WWII but rarely, and even then, only quietly spoke of their experiences, as their stories often caused them great pain. Gone now, I can only imagine.

There are people that are Great and Righteous today, though. We just have to look a little harder to find them - like Lenora Dennis.

She also drove them to the hospital and gave them some money to get them thru the night. The political question is why such acts of bravery and nobility were needed in the first place, ... and when she gets a medal for it all.

Sorry, I will go back to the politics page now.

      Thanks again for posting that.

      Best all.

Far enough right to just be, ... right.

I remember hearing about a million women march against them and queerism.

The rest is history and so is JCP. Very few stores left and only exist probably because the competition of Sears and Wards are gone.
They featured queer couples in their TV ads -- definitely pushing the queer store BY queers FOR queers. And paid a price for it.
