What's good for the Goose is apparently NOT good for the Gander ...

Looking on purely as a disinterested party, I find it a trifle
hypocritical to threaten sanctions on China if she gives aid
to Russia during this dumb war while at the same time we
have given $10,000,000,000 in aid to Ukraine. That amount
does not include the billions given them by the UK and other
European Nations. 'All's fair in love and war' but not to all
it seems. I know that you guys want to see Russia defeated
and will no doubt condemn China for giving aid to Russia,
while at the same time lauding us for aiding Ukraine.
For my part I want the war that shouldn't have begun to end.
I don't wish destruction on either side, but I do want the
civilian suffering to stop, and the sooner the better.

US President Joe Biden touched down in Kyiv on Monday morning in his first visit to the country since Russia's invasion began just under a year ago.

But you are not a purely disinterested party as you've posted about the war quite a number of times!

But unlike you I want it to end, and I didn't want it to start

Yes you want it to end, and apparently nobody but Russia wanted it to start!

That is over the top. For one thing, nobody here wanted the war to start and today, everybody here wants it to end.

For one, I was in favor of NATO enforcing a no fly zone. And yes, China will be happy to give the Russians a token of weapons in the hope that the US will continue to give to Ukraine. They are all behind the US weakening our military by giving weapons that could have gone to Taiwan. If the war in Ukraine continues, about the first Tuesday in November 2024 is when they will invade Formosa.

Biden visit to Kyiv will just make the war there even harder to stop. I wonder who told Joe to do it? And did you know the Russians were informed of the visit beforehand?

Yes, rather hypocritical and muddleheaded to declare we can supply the Ukraine, be its ally, but the Chinese can't ally with Putin. The Chinese will probably supply older Soviet design equipment that is easier to maintain and supply.
