This is premature and looking way down the road but let's assume that the Ukraine wins the war or Russia backs out.
The Crimea should return to the Ukraine anyway so nothing to consider there.
The question I have is: who's going to pay for all the damage the Russians did? Should the pay be taken out by claiming Russian territory? Nothing will pay for the lives lost and the memories those people will harbor the rest of their lives but still Russia should have to pay for damages. Now, who or how would this be forced?
There are contracting firms all over the world chomping at the bits to get into the Ukraine to start repairing their buildings and infrastructure. Again, who's going to pay for all of this?
If the Russians don't pay or lose a LOT of territory over this then they haven't been punished and will attack other countries after they rebuild their armament and people.
After WW2, after Germany had declared war upon the whole world TWICE part of the surrender was they would pay for rebuilding. We had no Nato back then. AFAIK Germany paid for rebuilding and paid WW2 debts up till 1980 or so but who would trust Russia to do such and how do you get blood out of a turnip to begin with?
We aren't there yet but if the Ukraine wins someone has to rebuild.
