Very interesting long story of a Ukraine woman sniper who kills 5 Russians with 5 shots!

5 shots = 5 kills. No one can say she waste ammo.

Read a while back that Poot'n had cleaned out his prisons (why feed them?). I forgot the number, it changes with every article I read, but Poot'n released his most hardened criminals to go fight against the Ukrainians. The deal was if they won the war and didn't get killed they would be set free with all charges dropped. Now I read where half of them so far have been killed.

Now, he intends to do that with his women prisoners.

Perhaps she's channeling the spriti of Lyudmilla Pavlichenko.
I'm sure they don't have stupid laws like the "Civil Rights of Institutionalized Persons" over there so Russian prisons are places people want get out of and stay out of.
Back in the Days of the Draft there were judge and sheriff recommended enlistments-"Join the Army or go to jail."
In the Greek city-states the only homosexual unit was the Sacred Band of Theses. They were put in the front line, they either received the enemy's attack or spearheaded the Thebans'.

Yeah, like the movie plus X 4,000 or so. Can't find the numbers any more but this article stated 40,000+(men).

Not to say they aren't fighting but for half of them to be gone so soon it appears they are riding a conveyor and being dropped off into a wood chipper.

Apparently the new prisoner recruits get about 5 days training and are then sent to fight. One article that I read suggests that the primary role is to tire out the Ukrainian soldiers. This is sort of credible since nobody in the Russian government is going to mourn their loss and in fact they are probably happy to see the end of them and if they do tire out the Ukrainian troops then they will have served a useful purpose. Do remember the famous story about the American general in WWII who asked a Soviet general how they cleared minefields. His answer was that they marched a penal battalion through the minefield

To me this sounds like propaganda. Total BS. Using a WWII sniper who had over 300 confirmed kills to advance a hero who only fired 5 rounds! Give me a break!!!!

I had a bunch of those guys in the companies I commanded. I always wanted to meet one of those judges in a dark alley.

My dad was one of those. He shot but did not kill the Dr. that was too drunk to deliver one of his kids and both mom and child died in Mountainburg, AR. He was given the choice of joining the military or jail. He served the entire WWII, he had 5 battle stars and a letter of commendation signed by FDR. He came back to school and graduated from college. He taught school and then worked for the US Forrest Service and for a while was the Ranger in charge of the entire Ozark Forrest.

                      Sounds like biden.

For every thing he says correctly (perhaps read off of his teleprompter) he says a thousand gaffes.

And he's just the kind of guy some judge would have sent into the Army -- a total dork!
