    It was a good idea?

Going kayaking when the water temp is 50 degrees F is a good idea if you are an Eskimo in a real kayak that has a watertight cover. These new plastic canoes are easy to turn over and leave you in the water with no good way to get back in it.

Fifty degree water will render swimming impossible in 10 minutes or so. You cannot fix stupid.

Lotus percussionist Chuck Morris and his 20-year-old son, Charlie, are believed to have drowned at Beaver Lake in Arkansas as officials continue searching for their bodies.

I remember being in North Carolina, in July, we used to raft down small streams. The water was really cold! And when it rained in the mountains, the water level would rise up fast to the top of the banks. Water level normally 2-2 foot deep would be 5-6 foot deep. Fun as long as you didn't fall in!

Wet suits are for surfers, real men don't wear them.
