    U.S. troops in Ukraine?

I knew that there were U.S. 'advisors' in Ukraine, a friend said there is now proof that there are combat U.S. troops in Ukraine. Any way to prove/disaprove this?

With all of our high tech equipment going there with no one knowing how to use it and possibly lose it to the Russians I would guess we have a number of "black operations" personnel there. If so, knowledge of their presence would naturally be denied.

If they are there I suspect the proof will come when the Russians eventually capture one.

I don't think they carry any ID at all. Obviously no dog tag and maybe no uniform unless they want the Russians to think they are Ukrainians. As far as being captured and tortured I think they may have a way to keep from talking, perhaps something similar the 'ol cyanide capsule to bite down on? I hear they are very pro.

I suspect the Russians can very quickly determine if someone is really a Ukrainian as opposed to masquerading.
All sorts of stories from Korea of Russian/Soviet pilots manning the MiGs, give the good job the Air Force did to confining them well away from the front lines, none were ever captured. In Cuba the Soviet advisors were rigidly segregated from the Cubans, didn't socialize with them, dealt with them only when necessary. Not like Vietnam where MACV advisors went into combat with the units they were advising.

Probably so but they can't prove it. We know the Chinese and Iranians are supporting Russia.

But, if it could be proven what would be the crime? Americans would not be in Russia fighting Russians we would be in the Ukraine fighting aggressors within their own soil. No one can tell us to stay out other than the Ukraine.

I have posted before comparing 'advisors' at the start of the Vietnam war to 'advisors' in Ukraine. In Vietnam, combat troops were deployed soon after 'advisors'. How long before that happens in Ukraine? Oatmeal brain Joe bragged to our troops that "you will be there". Vietnam was a political war to stop communism from spreading. Ukraine is also a political war! There is no accounting of where all those billions of dollars went or even where the weapons are! A scheme to launder money?

This is a copy and paste. It is not my words but it sure would explain why no one went to jail over the FTX scandal.

"Also in the news (as far as I can tell from cultural osmosis), a major cryptocurrency, FTX, went bust making roughly gazillions of dollars disappear in a digital "poof!" This sudden poofery revealed a funny little scheme that went like this: Democrats sent billions of our tax dollars to Ukraine for "defense" (wink-wink, nudge-nudge). Ukraine then "invested" much of that money in FTX, making FTX's owner stinkingly rich. He, in turn, gave a significant part of this newfound fortune back to the Democrats (his donations were second only to those of George Soros) to help them defeat Republicans in the midterm elections. In other words, it was the traditional Washington circle-jerk kickback scheme but on an especially large and obvious scale.

And carried our own radios, so we'd have someone to talk with when the ARVN departed the scene.
