Ukraine Supreme Court chief held in corruption probe

The graft case is the ?biggest-ever? involving the Ukrainian judiciary, anti-corruption boss says.

The head of Ukraine?s Supreme Court has been detained as part of a $2.7 million bribery inquiry, anti-corruption authorities said Tuesday.

Several high-level Ukrainian officials have been linked to corruption cases over the last few months as Kyiv attempts to crack down on graft to comply with the EU?s rule of law requirements, even as it continues to resist Russia?s full-scale invasion.

With all the Euros flowing in, there was bound to be corruption on a grand level. As an aside, personal friends in Kiev say a missile landed near their apartment complex last night.

There are fewer missiles getting through right now, but it's not easy to appreciate that when concussion from one rattles your windows. SW
