Issue one was supported by the NRA. If changed, it would require a 60% to change the Ohio Constitution instead of 50% plus 1. I took the time to see how the vote tallied. Ohio has 88 counties. 70 counties passed the issue. 18 counties did not. The issue was defeated by the votes being very heavy in those 18 counties due to larger populations. Interesting the TV adds in favor of the issue stated it kept big money such as donated by Soros and the like out of the equation. However those in favor in defeating the issue, they heavily aired adds noting that passage would be a negative for abortion "rights."
