A long video but this old vet tells it like it is. Ukraine is one of the most corrupt countries anywhere and we are watching Russia molding a streamlined and effective military while the US has more 4 star flag officers (41) than we had during WWII (7). There were 16 million serviing in 1944 and today 1.6 million!

Yes, today's military looks like that of a banana republic with one flag officer for every 1,000 enlisted men. In WWII Alexander Patch and Leslie J. McNair only received their 4th stars posthumously, Patton never received his permanent 4th star. Hodges received his permanent 4th star when he retired, as did Walter Krueger.
