As water finds it's own level, why do we lift ships
from the Atlantic to the Pacific and drop them coming back ?

As said before. I've lived near Mobile Bay and the Gulf of Mexico all my life. The sea's aren't rising.

The Mississippi River is at a low level. Barges are being grounded further up North on the river. The mouth of the MS river opens to the Gulf of Mex which is connected to the Atlantic and the Pacific. If the sea's were rising the MS river would be rising as well---it's not.

There are places in Europe having the same problems with ship traffic being restricted due to low levels (connected to the oceans).
