Mayor Pete's taking time off from maternity leave to wander into his office. He has banned rail transport of liquid petroleum gases so they can only go by truck; that'll be great for the economy. Squeaky can add it to her file on Disinformation.

Wonder how many people will die because of this stupidity?

I cannot find a straight answer to this if it is a ban on LNG or LPG. Different parameters.

This is just another bit of the leftie enviro wacko drive to force everyone off all fossil fuels. The point is to make the product more expensive and therefore discourage its use. Its the real reason for the war on pipelines. Heck, everybody knows pipelines are cheaper, more efficient and safer than trains or trucks which is of course the point of all this. Make it all less efficient and less safe and more costly at the same time.

Its part of the war on gas kitchen appliances, gas furnaces, gas water heaters. There are new regulations coming out penalizing gas bar-b-q grills. The proposed new regulations on standby and portable generators are specifically designed with driving them from the market place, with that in mind the new regs would ban manufacturers from ramping up production of generators in anticipation of what would amount to a de facto ban.

Ford Motor Company lost $600,000,000.00 on its electric vehicle division in 2021 and $700,000,000.00 last year, because people just don't want to buy the things. They're all in though because they can see the writing on the wall, especially if the Dems win in the next election which is a real possibility. This despite having a guy obviously in the early stages of dementia at the top of the ticket and knowing he'll probably be totally non compus mentis a year or so in his second term at the latest.
