Pope Francis can kiss my pow-pow. "people looking for a better life". Yes they are, but I don't care. It's easy for him and other liberals to tout nice verses like, give me your, poor, your hungry.. Some liberals (who have recently been "mugged") are actually abruptly changing their tune.

The pope is a nice man, but he doesn't have to share the sidewalk with hundreds of homeless who are now countryless.

Am I a little angry, yes. It's been sixty years of this and now all of a sudden some folks are concerned that their neighborhood is being swamped. Well, tough titty, you asked for it.

“But never was it envisioned that this would be an unlimited, universal right or obligation on the city to have to house literally the entire world.”

Don't say we didn't warn you. Anyone remember the fable about the camel?

The Pope is too political vs religious! Besides, he likes Biden and Pelosi, the worst, most corrupt Catholics ever!

So now Biden has given 500 thousand Venezuelans Temporary Protection Status and Work Authorization. Work where? A lot of them have no education and don't even speak English. Maybe they can build that TSMC chip factory that no one around here can figure out how to make. Oh, Mayorkas says, if down the road they are found to be ineligible they will be returned. How the **** would you find them? Mixed in with the other 30 million.
Venezuela is a horrible place with lousy government, drug cartels and killers, but these are the nice ones.

This country always supported and was built by immigration but via the legal way!

What a bloody hypocrite. The Pope lives in a Palace
surrounded in opulence. The Vatican is a walled City
which keeps the rif raf out. I doubt you'll find many
          Migrants in there.

They're not migrants. They're illegals. Big difference.

You'r right, although I thought I had it covered with "Rif Raf"
Although, Migrants describes those moving from one country to another
whether legal or otherwise doesn't really come into it.
                Birds migrate as do Reindeer

Funny how the terms change - Homeless became Unhoused
Why they think that's better beats me. Now the word Migrant
has replaced Invader - a more apt description.

Migrants sometimes are welcome. Sometimes they are productive people. This country was made of migrants who fought for our country, farmed our fields and created businesses.

Illegals are here to take. Illegals, especially in the gross numbers that are occurring are indeed invaders.

At one time when this country was young we needed and welcomed responsible migrants. We are fully capable of producing our own people now.
